Restoration Hardware (ultimate invite incorporating actual cast iron key)
To preview Restoration Hardware’s first store in San Francisco, we created an invitation package and custom corrugated mailer. The gate-folded jacket holds three super-heavy insert cards, all “multiplexed” from Mohawk Loop Antique Vellum Urban Gray 80# Cover. The stock feels soft and toothy, and folds beautifully. All text is letterpress printed with a double hit of metallic silver ink. Restoration Hardware handled the assembly, including sourcing the faux-wax seal and cast iron key, which they affixed with cotton thread (through 2 tiny holes we drilled) .
