datagraphic spirograph Card (fun, fun, fun, foil and detail, too)
Our in-house design team decided to play around with circular spirograph design effects to create the funnest holiday card ever. Using foil stamping techniques in multiple colors, our production department was able to push the limits of hot-foil stamping and achieve some of the finest line weights possible. We chose Gmund Reaction Sky Blue paper stocks which carry a pearlescent sheen – our lead designer, Melissa Busch really wanted to find a paper worthy of the foil technique and was super pleased with the outcome; “the foil really popped” she exclaimed. Melissa also took an unorthodox approach on the outer envelope and decided to use the paper “inside-out” so the reader would be surprised, once the outer envelope was opened.
A bit kitschy, but cute – we added a real plastic spirograph set so our clients could actually create spiro designs on the blank side of the card and create their own holiday cards to be sent of to friends or colleagues.
