Packaging projects are the most intricate and complex for a printer to produce. Custom packaging is also often a consumer’s first impression, therefore, it needs to be executed at the highest level of quality and consistency.
Offset or litho, for short, is the most common printing method whereby the inked design is transferred from the printing plate to a rubber blanket and then onto the paper. Digital printing is ideal for short runs. Designs are printed directly onto a variety of substrates using electroink technology. This digital ‘ink’ does not require additional drying time like conventional offset printing, allowing for more rapid production and finishing.

Screen printing is a process by which an image is imposed onto a specialized mesh (screen) creating a stencil. Inks or coatings are pushed through the apertures in the mesh by way of a squeegee under pressure and transferred onto a printing surface. With foil stamping, a design is transferred onto a substrate via a thin metallic, translucent or opaque film using pressure and high heat. The image to be stamped is etched in relief on the plate so the design is raised, rather than recessed.
