A custom box and note cards for an iconic Manhattan tower.
Project: Designed by Philip Johnson, the striking tower at 550 Madison Avenue in New York City is one of the most recognizable buildings in Manhattan. Its characteristic notch and 7-story arched entrance way provided the inspiration for the minimalist line drawing foil stamped onto the cover of a custom turned edge box we created to hold the beautiful 4-color offset note cards contained inside.
Print: offset lithography; foil stamping, lay flat aqueous coating
Stocks: Cards: 110# Crane’s Crest Fluorescent White Wove Cover; Box: 80# Mohawk Loop Antique Vellum Urban Grey Text
Finishing: Die cut and create 2-piece turned edge box. Affix black ribbon to inside back of box to create lift for contents.
