A cube within a box containing a puzzle that reveals an icon.
We’re no strangers to working with Bloomingdale’s, having had the opportunity to help produce several unique items for the legendary New York City department store over the years. This puzzle and gift box project was no less a challenge and a thrill for us to tackle. Consisting of several elements that would be shipped within a corrugated white box sporting their famous brand, those elements would then be housed within a striking black box providing an inverse “cube” and also donning their logo. Inside the turned edge black cube are 48 puzzle pieces that, when skillfully reassembled, reveal a 19″ x 25″ puzzle featuring the store’s iconic Lexington Avenue facade that has appeared in hundreds of now-famous photographs and films. A cheat sheet poster was included for reference along with a note card.
