How Digital Printing Works
Modern digital presses use Electroink technology, which allows your designs to be printed directly onto a variety of substrates. One major difference between digital and conventional offset lithography technology is that digital inks do not require additional drying time, allowing more rapid production and finishing.
Paper Stocks
Only certain stocks are certified and compatible for the digital presses. New stocks are introduced daily and the selection is ever-growing. One major limitation is the substrate thickness, however, we are able to paste certain papers together after they’re digitally printed in order to achieve certain thicknesses.
Indigo Colors and Inks
Although spot PMS colors are available, most digital projects utilize the CMYK color spectrum.
